Our wedding was very intimate, emotionally intense, surreal and completely joyful. It was a day of feeling completely in the moment, just the two of us, and recognising that we had made our dream a reality and would now be married. I would describe our wedding look as understated elegance meets sophisticated simplicity. This overall feel was chosen as it aligns well with an elopement (the intimate merging of two souls). We reflected this look in all details from our choice of venue (Grand Hotel Tremezzo), my wedding dress and Aaron’s grooms suit, my hair and make-up and selection of bouquet (long stem white roses). The way we chose to spend the day in the lead up (a relaxed long breakfast within Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s terrace with incredible views of the mountains and lakes and a long leisurely walk hand in hand around Lake Como before we separated to prepare individually for the elopement) and during the elopement (enjoying a stunning boat ride on the lake and private dining just for us two in Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s ball room) fit within our feel of effortless elegance and sophisticated simplicity.
