Meraviglioso Amore

Made in Italy

They came back to the place of their hearts to pronounce «Yes, I do». Although for years now, they live between Rome and Bologna. Eleonora and Angelo chose Palermo and Bagheria as the location of their dream wedding. A ceremony with a very “Gattopardo” atmosphere. The religious ceremony took place in the enchanting Baroque style of San Giuseppe Dei Teatini Church in Palermo. After mass, big party at Villa Valguarnera, in Bagheria, a famous city center near to Palermo. The place chosen for the reception was very special: the party continued until late night in the spaces of the Villa. The colors of the ceremony were traditional of “majolica style”, also the personalized under-plates for each guest. As a placeholder, the bride has chosen small glass jars with inside the bulbs that the guests can then plant in pots. The bright colors of the majolica have also been combined with the gold color. Very fresh and sicilian mise en place! The flowers chosen were jasmine, peonies, English roses, lisianthus and hydrangeas. Everything was enhanced by the use of olive twigs and prickly pear blades. With the same flowers, the bride’s bouquet. Eleonora wearing a dress by the Italian designer Giuseppe Papini. The cake topper is also very special. Instead of the traditional “Just Married”, the couple opted for a “Appena Maritati” with a Sicilian taste for sure! In the dialect of the island it means, “Just married”.
